Quade
Support Worker
Quade has been with Abilitive since day one, our longest-standing support worker and a genuine good bloke. South African and Kiwi roots before he landed in Melbourne, he brings warmth, a quick sense of humour and a real knack for making people feel at ease. He’s big on health, and loves helping clients build routines that actually stick. A man of strong Christian faith, Quade leads with compassion, patience and a deep respect for every person he supports. Whether he’s sharing a laugh or just listening, he turns the everyday into something people look forward to.
Nathan
Support Worker / Client Liasion
Nathan brings the discipline of an elite football background and the practical, get-it-done nature of a tradie to everything he does. Highly motivated and genuinely inspiring, he’s the kind of bloke who wants the best out of himself and everyone around him, and that energy is contagious. Since joining Abilitive he’s grown from support worker to client liaison, becoming a central point of contact for clients and families and helping keep their support running smoothly. Practical, reliable and always in your corner, Nathan turns up ready to make things happen.
Lachlan
Exercise Physiologist / Support Coordination / Psychosocial Recovery Coaching
Lachlan pairs clinical expertise with lived experience and a coach’s eye. Having rebuilt his own health from the ground up, he knows what it takes to transform a life, and he understands the limitations that get in the way. He’s living proof that there’s always another way, and he brings that belief to every participant he works with. A man of many pursuits, he’s forever working on something new, from acrobatics, handstands and slacklining to juggling, guitar and Spanish. Freedom sits high on his list, and having had it taken from him, he knows what it means to fight to get it back, which is exactly what he helps participants do. Guiding people through the NDIS, he builds genuine independence with them, turning support into momentum rather than dependence.
Charlotte
Support Worker
Charlotte is a disability support worker who genuinely loves what she does. Deeply empathetic, she finds real joy in helping people work towards their goals and live life to the fullest. For her this was never just a job, it’s about building meaningful connections and helping the people she supports feel confident, capable and backed every step of the way. With a background in healthcare and currently studying speech pathology, she brings a clinical eye and a caring nature to every interaction, always learning, always growing, and always in your corner.
Clotaire
Support Worker
Clotaire’s path to Abilitive runs through three continents. Born in the Congo, he earned an engineering degree in China and speaks fluent French and Mandarin alongside English. A devoted father and honest family man, he brings a calm, steady presence that puts people instantly at ease, the kind of bloke who offers a genuine father-figure role to those who need one. Easygoing and dependable, with good vibes wherever he goes, Clo is simply the sort of person you want in your corner.
Dan
Support Coordinator / Psychosocial Recovery Coach
Dan brings a rare mix to this work. A former professional musician turned patient transport officer with the Royal Flying Doctors Service, and now completing his Master of Mental Health, he pairs real world experience with genuine clinical grounding. He’s also a practising Buddhist, which shapes how he shows up with participants. Present, patient, and without judgement. Easy going by nature and grounded by design, Dan works best with people who want someone steady in their corner. Whether that’s navigating a plan, finding the right supports, or just having someone who’ll listen properly. He believes the best support builds capability rather than dependence, and he brings compassion, openness, encouragement and a healthy dose of humour to every participant he works with. Outside of the work you’ll find him woodworking, tinkering with tech, cooking, or out walking his dog Sheena, who he’ll happily talk about at length.
Our recruitment standards, supervision practices, and commitment to ongoing professional development ensure that our staff are skilled, compassionate, and uphold the NDIS Code of Conduct.
